RISE 2 VOTE

As creative professionals in the Phoenix Valley, brought together by design, we are collaborating to indigenize space. When Indige Design Collab chooses projects, we lean on our cultural norms of living between two worlds. For the last couple years we have organized to cultivate important conversations around indigenous communities to begin to foster design thinking both in urban and rural spaces.

This show highlighted 20 Indigenous graphic artists whose design and animation work was displayed in the nationally known Roosevelt Row Arts District. The RISE 2 VOTE Projection Show took place on October, 12, 2020 on Indigenous Peoples’ Day in Downtown Phoenix and featured the Indige Design Collab crew, the Indigenous Community Collaborative (REZponse), renowned artist Douglas Miles and DJ Olywurld who all collaborated to explore the ways conversation, technology, art, and lights could impact the streets.
